Tasty food and amazing desert..is a nice place to go for having a meal. Very polite staff. Kids can enjoy the playground ..perfect for any age!
It wasn't overly busy. I arrived just after 12pm at the Brewers Fayre in Grantham. There was at least a 5 minute wait of standing before a staff member came over. Being neurodivergent and feeling overwhelmed I asked if I could sit away from the other people seated near the window but bluntly got told no they were reserved despite no 'reserved' signs on the many tables which were in excess of 6. My trip was spontaneous, I just needed some food as I was feeling lightheaded. None the less my food arrived and I was presently surprised that it tasted quite good, better than I expected. I also got a refill coffee but had to ask the lady where the coffee machine was, she politely told me the location. The coffee was great value. The only thing that did put me off was there were lots of flies in the restaurant seating area, which I understand can't always be helped but kept seeing the crawling on the walls and picture frames. Food was worth it and filled me up. Not sure if I'd come back but I might.
Love the Farrier. The only place in Grantham that offers a play area for the kids. Went today with some friends for the carvery. All played were polished off as it was delicious. Special shout out to Matt, Sue, Graham and Pete for the amazing service as usual. Been visiting since I was a kid and dont intend to stop anytime soon.
An old school pub restaurant right next to the hotel. The restaurant had a smell of food and alcohol that was not really welcoming. I paid £4 for a bottle of water so I have to say that it was not cheap.
